Information is only collected if the form to participate in a hackathon is completed.
The following information is collected for Students:
Name, email, University, School, Degree, Field of Study, Expected Graduation Date, resume, linkedin URL, reason for wanting to participate.
The following information is collected for Special Guests:
name, email, employer, title, linkedin URL and/or bio, headshot.
Minors are not permitted to participate in the hackathons, unless they are a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate degree program.
This information is used to determine eligibility for participation in the hackathon. Upon acceptance to participate in the hackathon, your information provided is shared with the mentors, sponsors, organizers, staff, and other participants at the hackathon with the intention to faciliate networking and connection.
We do not sell personal information. Ever.
No information is collected of visitors to this website.

Students are given the option to participate in voluntary research. These additional questions are used for research and to improve the hackathon experience for students. Participation is voluntary and your choice of answering these additional questions will in no way affect your eligibility or participation in the hackathon. We do not anticipate any risks from participating in this research. Information we gather from this study may benefit others to improve their future hackathon experience and enhance scientific knowledge. You may choose Not to participate in the research component. Research data is anonymized and private.
